Spousal Visa with stamp 3

Question

 With my spouse with a green card and I with a stamp 3,can I work and how do I apply for a work permit?

Answer 

The the first step you need to take is look for a job. Let your potential employer know that you are in the country as a dependent of a Green Card holder and that getting your work permit if free. You can only apply for the work permit once you get hired. Your start day will be once you get your work permit. Either you or your employer can apply for it.

apparently u can work after u get a work permit but htis is nothing but bullshit their is a waiting of 4 ****ing months for this process will ur employer wait? again one of those millions if irish stupidity!!!!!
