Maternity Leave on a green card
Question
I am working as a staff Nurse in a Nursing home,I would like to enquire about our maternity leave? how many months can I take leave? shall I get the child benefit?after 1 year can I terminate my 2 year contract? What is its procedures?
Answer:
You should qualify for all benfits as a normal employee. You need to inform your employer about your pregnancy and your intention for maternity leave.
