Does having Irish Ancestors help with a green card
I am working on my bachelor's degree in history and plan on becoming a teacher. My ancestors came to Texas from Ireland in the 1830s and I want to someday live in Ireland. Can a person with a teaching degree in America emigrate to Ireland and teach there?

To work in Ireland you would need either a work permit, EU residency or a green card. If you fufil any of these then you would be able to work in Ireland as a teacher. Sadly teachers don't qualify in the list of What Jobs Qualify for an Irish Green Card?.
